Eric Bukovinsky is a Partner at Yaletown, bringing nearly two decades of experience in investing, finance, and consulting to the technology sector. Based in Vancouver, Eric focuses his efforts on creating strategic value and optimizing for scale with companies enabling the digital transformation of traditional industries. He also leads the Yaletown Insights research activities on digital transformation, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and the development of global technology ecosystems. He has been a member of the AI Commercialization Working Group, supporting the Advisory Council on Artificial Intelligence to the Canadian government.
Eric leads Yaletown’s investments in GoBolt Technologies, InvertedAI, Photonic, CTO.ai, and Group14 Technologies, and specializes in infrastructure software, Data and AI, and solutions enabling digital transformation. Eric previously led the firm’s investments in Tasktop (acquired by Planview), FinnAI (acquired by Glia), Mover.io (acquired by Microsoft), Foodee (acquired by Sodexo), Sokanu (acquired by Penn Foster) and Wantering (acquired by Clique Media).
Prior to joining Yaletown, Eric conducted equity research for Jefferies & Company in San Francisco, covering infrastructure software companies. He was also a research associate at Analysis Group, an economic and strategy consultancy in Silicon Valley. Eric is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA in Economics from Pomona College.
