Yaletown closes Series C financing of Endurance Wind Power

Canadian venture capital firm Yaletown Venture Partners has closed a Series C financing of Endurance Wind Power Inc. The value of the equity investment was not disclosed. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, Endurance is manufacturer of advanced small wind turbines, designed specifically for distributed wind power applications. The Series C round is intended to help the company expand revenues and market share by funding production of its larger X-Series 225KW turbine in a U.K.-based assembly plant. Founded in 2007, Endurance’s other Canadian investors include BC Advantage Funds (VCC) and Export Development Canada.
