Business in Vancouver magazine annually ranks Vancouver companies to see who’s got fastest based on percentage growth in revenue in the previous four years. In its 2015 ranking, Equicare Health’s growth put them in fifth place among Vancouver’s top 100 rapid growth companies. The magazine gathers data in interviews with companies and their own financial research.

Formed in 2006, (with an investment by Yaletown in 2007) the Vancouver-based health-care technology company develops software that co-ordinates care for oncology patients. Its signature product, called Equicare CS, provides patients with support throughout their entire battle with cancer, from diagnosis through long-term cancer survivorship.

“What we’re probably proudest of is being able to take very complex information, summarize it and present it to a patient or a clinician that is not an oncologist,” said Len Grenier, company president and CEO. Equicare’s specialty is ensuring nothing gets lost in translation between patients and doctors
