In it’s Market Overview for 2016, the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association reported the Top Exit of the last year was GE Digital’s acquisition of Bit Stew Systems, an IIoT company with significant cleantech impact.
In February, the TMX-backed Advancing Innovation Roundtable released recommendations on how to nurture the growth of Canada’s innovation companies including increasing access to growth capital. Already the report has had considerable impact with investment stakeholders.
