Yaletown chosen as fund manager for $20M of Ontario’s cleantech investments

The Ontario Capital Growth Corporation (OCGC) today announced selection of two fund managers to oversee its Ontario-based cleantech business investments. Yaletown Partners will oversee an investment of the $20M in Ontario-made next generation cleantech through an investment in its Innovation Growth Fund.

The Yaletown Innovation Growth Fund helps Canadian technology companies to scale and become market leaders. The fund focuses on emerging technology companies that enhance sustainability and productivity for industry and enterprises. Investors in Yaletown’s Innovation Growth Fund include institutional investors such as pension funds, international LPs, family offices, and a number of accomplished tech-sector CEOs.
