Brad Johns is a Venture Partner at Yaletown Partners in the Calgary office. He focuses his time on managing existing portfolio companies, looking for new business opportunities, and supporting the Innovation Growth Fund and Accelerate Fund teams.

Prior to joining Yaletown, Brad was a partner at Moneta Capital where he was responsible for information and industrial technology investments and vice president of Launchworks, a venture capital firm which was among the top performers in its vintage. Earlier in his career, he was an executive at global communications-giant, Nortel, providing leadership in manufacturing and product management in Canada and the UK.  Brad brings over 35 years private equity, venture capital, business development, product management, and manufacturing automation experience to the firm.

Brad holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, an M.Eng in Systems Engineering from McMaster University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
