Shruti Sharma is a Senior Fund Operations Analyst at Yaletown Partners in the Calgary office. She is responsible for advancing Yaletown’s investment and operational initiatives, assisting with LP reporting, company valuations, and the automation of internal systems. Shruti contributes across the full investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing, due diligence to execution while also driving portfolio performance monitoring and valuation.

Before joining Yaletown, Shruti gained broad experience through dynamic co-op placements spanning project management, investor relations, and information management. As a Venture Grade Associate, she successfully raised student-led funds, identified high-potential startups, and built a strong network within Nova Scotia’s innovation ecosystem. She was selected for the CVCA’s BIPOC Internship Pilot Program in 2021, gaining direct experience working alongside industry leaders within Canada’s venture capital landscape. Shruti further developed her experience in the venture capital ecosystem through academic and entrepreneurial initiatives, contributing to research, program design, and student engagement in early-stage investing at Saint' Mary's University Entrepreneurship Centre. Beyond her professional work, she is actively engaged in Calgary’s tech and venture ecosystem, helping organize events for the Alberta Founder, Funders, and Fortifiers (ABF4) network and supporting initiatives that bring together emerging leaders in Calgary’s startup community.

Shruti earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
