Based in Calgary, Alberta, Shruti serves as an Investment Analyst for the YIG I & II funds, where she plays a key role in managing quarterly reporting, conducting valuations, and automating internal processes. She is also responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and presenting potential investments, as well as managing portfolio companies. With a strong foundation in project management, investor relations, and information management, Shruti has developed her expertise through dynamic co-op placements.

As a Venture Grade Associate, Shruti successfully raised student-led funds, identified promising investment opportunities, and cultivated a robust network within Nova Scotia's startup ecosystem. She is also a proud participant in the CVCA’s BIPOC internship pilot program in 2021. In her previous roles, Shruti has contributed as a Teaching Assistant for a Venture Capital course and as a Project Coordinator at her university's entrepreneurship center. Alongside her professional role, Shruti is actively involved in the community, organizing events for the Alberta Founder, Funders, and Fortifiers (ABF4) group—a network of women in technology in Calgary—and co-founding a young professionals network in the city.

Shruti holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
