Kamal Vasagiri is a Venture Partner at Yaletown. He has 20 years of combined experience in Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, Product Management and Software Engineering. He bring expertise is investing in Early (including Incubation) to Growth stage startups and portfolio management.

A Kauffman Fellow, Kamal has several years of investing experience covering the Enterprise Software space working at GE Ventures and Honeywell Ventures where he was most recently leading investments. Prior to that, after spending 10 years in Engineering and Product Management at Companies such as Prudential Financial and Oracle – Kamal founded an EdTech SAAS startup and has built a significant network of Founders/Operators and Investors.

Kamal has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University where he was the recipient of the Presidential Fellowship, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, India.
