Farah is an Investment Analyst at Yaletown, bringing 3 years of experience in private equity, data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Based in Vancouver, she assists in all components of the investment process including due diligence, sourcing, and participating in the structuring, negotiation and execution of transactions.

As an innovative and driven individual, Farah believes in consistent improvement and obtaining new knowledge. Before joining Yaletown Partners, Farah worked as a junior analyst at BCI within their private equity team, where her interest in venture capital was piqued. More recently, Farah worked at Alacrity Canada, where she managed and developed their venture debt lending program for early-stage companies. With a passion for entrepreneurship, Farah previously also managed her own start-up, Cering Technologies Inc., which focused on the safety of individuals using wearable technology.

Farah holds bachelor’s degree in finance and strategy from Simon Fraser University and is currently pursuing a Diploma of Accounting at the University of British Columbia.
