Based in Edmonton, AB, Yasmine supports the team that invests in early-stage Alberta-based technology startup companies as an Investment Associate with Accelerate Fund II and III. A dedicated contributor to the startup tech community and trusted as a team leader, she spends her time working with and investing in entrepreneurs throughout Alberta. 

Prior to joining Yaletown, Yasmine was a Deal Screening Analyst for Startup TNT where she focused on building relationships with tech founders and funders and undertaking research and due diligence to evaluate startups for investment. During her time at Startup TNT, she was involved in building out and growing an online forum platform for professionals in the local tech community and industries such as power generation, oil & gas, and financial services. Passionate about entrepreneurship, Yasmine strived to assist new founders with strategic and business expertise from ideation to growth throughout her career. 

Yasmine completed her MBA, with specialization in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Alberta in 2020, following a degree in Business in Economics and Law.
